Albeit Michael Myers can be very witty and can--through his antics--make you laugh, the jokes are getting old, tired and warn out. There is just no way to make another sequel coherent enough to keep a story line. Just like Scream 3, Naked Gun 33 1/3, Spy Kids 3. Each film becomes weaker with each new sequel, because the story from the first wasn't designed to carry a sequel. Still there are some moments in this movie that will make you laugh; just don't set your expectations too high.
